Theological Courses

Mojdeh offers a variety of courses through a platform called Moodle. Students who are registered in our courses can easily watch videos, download course books and do their assignments through a secure website. This is crucial for those who are living in Iran and Afghanistan because it allows them to learn and take classes in a safe and secure way. We offer both basic and more advanced courses. Please see below for the kinds of courses and resources we offer.

BASIC CHRISTIANITY

All Mojdeh students begin their studies in our Foundations of Christianity course. Since the Farsi-speaking church is the fastest growing church in the world, this course is aimed to provide teaching for new believers and non-believers who are seeking the truth. The Foundations course consists of twenty-five parts, including basic tenants of the faith, how to pray and basic theology. Students leave this course with basic understanding of what Christianity is and what it means to follow Christ.

DISCIPLESHIP COURSES

Due to the persecution that Christians in Iran and Afghanistan endure, it is difficult for believers there to regularly gather. As a result, discipleship of new believers has suffered. For this reason, we offer courses that are aimed at discipling believers who may otherwise not be able to experience it.

LEADERSHIP RESOURCES

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” Many people come to Christ everyday in Farsi-speaking nations and the churches in these lands are in huge need of leaders. We believe the remarkable movement of God among Persian peoples comes with a responsibility. Farsi-speaking Christians must organize their efforts to fulfill the Great Commission, especially in the unreached Muslim world. Healthy churches are the key to advancing the gospel throughout the Farsi-speaking world. Growing healthy churches begins with proper leadership development and that is where a theological training program is critical.

ACADEMIC STUDIES

Since 2017, Mojdeh has had the privilege of working alongside the Persian Leadership Development Initiative (PLDI) at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Southeastern). PLDI offers the only accredited, theologically-driven Bachelor’s degree in the world and the only accredited, theologically-driven Master’s degree in world. Through our partnership with PLDI, our students are able to earn forty-five credit hours towards their Bachelor’s degree at Southeastern by taking our courses. In the future, PLDI hopes to expand their program to include theological certificates in Farsi as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Counseling.
