Dr. Kambiz Saghaey
President
Dr. Kambiz Saghaey is the founder of Mojdeh Ministry and the director of Persian Leadership Development at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He received his Master’s degree in Church Planting and his Doctor of Education degree from Southeastern. He is a Muslim background believer and pastored churches in Iran despite persecution. He and his wife Sepideh have been married since 1991 and have two adult children, Kiyarash and Tiyam.
Dr. John Ewart
Vice PresidentDr. John Ewart is the Associate Vice President of Global Theological Initiatives (GTI) and Ministry Centers at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Through his leadership position in GTI, he oversees global educational partnerships which include international seminary faculty development, mission board leadership training, institutional consultation, organizational development, theological education development and local church leadership training. He has served as a senior pastor, church planter, missionary, revitalization consultant and professor.
Peter Wilkinson
Treasurer
Peter is a finance executive with over 25 years of experience serving in global business enterprises. He graduated from Liberty University with a BA in Business Administration - Finance. Peter and his wife Marian were married in 1994 and they have 5 children.
Mansour Khajepour
Professor | Board Member
Ever since 1998, Mansour is an ordained Presbyterian Minister. He is a former Muslim from Iran, and has been serving different local churches across the States. His wife Nahid is the Executive Director of the Iranian Bible Society. They celebrate having Rebeka (25), and Matthew (20) as their God-fearing Christ Following children. Mansour earned his MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary. He is currently based and serves in Lake Stevens, WA.
Dr. David Page

David served in pastoral ministry in Texas from 1984 to 2003. He has served as a Bible teacher among Iranians since 2003. He graduated with a BA in Bible from Hardin Simmons University in Texas and received his MDiv and DMin from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. David and his wife Karla were married in 1986 and have four children and five grandchildren.
Edwin Keshish Abnous
ProfessorEdwin Keshish-Abnous is an adjunct professor at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Director of Programming at Heart4Iran’s Mohabat TV, a 24-hour Farsi Christian TV station that broadcasts Christian teachings to the Farsi speaking world. He has written numerous theological articles in Farsi and has produced and taught over 400 hours of Christian teachings. He also is the author of “The Lord’s Prayer: A closer look at Matthew 6:9-13” and “The Trinity: Islam and The Trinity, a Theological Exploration.”
He was born in Iran and came to the USA in 2001; since then, he is committed to reaching, teaching, and equipping Iranians for the Kingdom of God.
Sam Mehraban Rahmani

Sam Mehraban Rahmani is married to Deborah and together they have 2 boys named Stephen and Paul. They have lived in Southeast Asia since 2008. He comes from a background where he was exposed to philosophy, different worldviews, and historical studies, and he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Theology. Currently, he is shepherding a local church and FromGospel Ministry as well as teaching at SEBTS and Mojdeh Theological center. Rev. Sam is passionate about God’s word, and missions in calling the nations back to the Gospel.
Dr. Sepideh Gholibeigi
Professor & Biblical Counselor
Dr. Sepideh Gholibeigi is a biblical counselor for Mojdeh and an adjunct professor at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She received her Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling in 2019 and her Doctor of Education degree in Biblical Counseling in 2023. She is from an Iranian Muslim background and married Kambiz Saghaey in 1991. Together they have two children, Kiyarash (26) and Tiyam (20).
Ramin Bagheri
Director of student affairs, Operations Manager, Student Counselor
Ramin Bagheri was born into a Muslim family in Iran and in 2003 came to faith in Christ when he was 23 years old. He then ran into problems with the Iranian government as a result of his faith and was forced to leave Iran with his wife and daughter. Ramin is now a German resident. In 2015, he encountered further difficulties with the government, prompting him to leave Iran along with his wife and young daughter.
